It applies to cabling terminated on sockets and network termination devices (NTDs) of indoor and external metallic cable in aerial or underground situations.

Licensing, legislative, regulatory, and certification requirements apply, and all customer cabling work must be performed by a registered cabler.

ICTTEN208 Use electrical skills when working with telecommunications networks
ICTWHS204 Follow work health and safety and environmental policy and procedures
Key Skills:
Terminate and test cables and earth wires.
Install cable modules according to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct visual inspection and test terminations.
Install and test earthing systems.
Create records and provide customer with sign-off documentation.
Supervise unregistered cablers where relevant.
